Eat Defeat

iLL Citizen aspires to give fresh sounds, powerful beats, and origional content. We gravitate from hip-hop to deliver music that’s authentic and energetic, and speak directly with the listeners to either; make you think, or funk. We want to inspire our listeners. By doing this we are opposed to encouraging or utilising gangsterisms. Instead we use a universal language to reach out to unorthadox/traditionalist hip-hoppers, and attract the attention of those unfamiliar to what hip hop can offer. The music and lyrical content is presented independently to trends and stigmas, to make what we say accessible to people from all walks of life. We aim to build bridges among cultures, to destroy prejudice and mechanisms of social unrest, and ultimately; provide something to believe in and become a part of. iLL Citizen (in a nutshell) wants to empower the individual through knowledge and awareness.
